1:2 An Unfocused Allegory - The Cerebral Citadel
(Click to see full size with greater detail)
The second piece from my in-progress Book "Cerebral Citadel". I suppose it’s something of a next chapter in my ongoing obsession with the imagination as an independent from of experience with its own very real treasures and dangers.
The Audio features a reading by me - as opposed to an automated voiceover.
2: An Unfocused Allegory
Night's persistent boil
Taints fruit, I bite into fog.
Valerian soaks the soil,
My sight, a muddied bog.
The hours fuse and weaken,
Diminishing the whole.
Communion does not strengthen,
Deepening the hole.
Day demands attention,
I dismiss drowsiness.
I ride the rising tension
Of rest's pervasiveness.
Chores blur, my hands fly
A Vishnu vision in action.
An unfocused allegory
Of my scattered attention.
