1:1 Slitting Seams - The Cerebral Citadel
(Click to see full size with greater detail)
The First piece from my in-progress Book "Cerebral Citadel". I suppose it’s something of a next chapter in my ongoing obsession with the imagination as an independent from of experience with its own very real treasures and dangers. The Audio features a reading by me - as opposed to an automated voiceover.
Slitting Seams 1
Sun's thousand shapes.
Moon's hundred mansions.
Prickle at my nape,
A press of false liaisons.
Dull, drowsy waking,
Twitching, standing sleep.
Borders slack and shaking
A seam I cannot keep.
Temples and Tendons
Overlap and disconnect.
My internal mediations
Stiffen from neglect.
The dawn is darkened,
Ghosts cling to the corners.
Rising red is patterned
With evening's interlopers.
Happy Tomes Tuesday (a new and exciting project is waiting in the wings for next Tuesday - watch this space).
