Soul's Flotsam
(Click to see full size with greater detail)
From the Hypnos Hermes Collection The Audio features a reading by me - as opposed to an automated voiceover.
Soul's Flotsam
The easing darkness pierced,
Strange sounds, odd eyes.
Invert and mock the comfort
Of warm stars in winter skies.
Sharp edges, bloated joints,
My psyche's odd organisms
Prowl dreams and memories,
Needling their blurred divisions.
So much flotsam in my soul
Nimbly stitched by spiders.
Tapestries of foreign thought
That confound the thinker.
