We had a heat wave in Ireland - down with that sort of thing! Grumpy - no sleep.. And yes the artwork is a fairy being dragged into Tartarus by a solar flare. From the Sovereigns of the Seasons collection
Solar Dictator
Gazing, Blazing, solar dictator.
His gold gauntlet of reason
Pinches, singes silken ether,
Sprawling across the season.
Sculpted clouds, withheld, denied.
Boundless blue in domination.
Shaded mysteries split wide
Stripped of all suggestion.
Stirring sun, thickening blood,
Teases tempers, ether steams.
Styx trickles, stemmed flood.
Hot hands shredding dreams
We cannot whisper in the cool,
Brushes stolen, now we beat
Haze hammer, chisel, tool
Shaping screeches in the heat.
Midges pierce, excite the skin,
Swarming flocks, spirals flow.
Puppets for our faerie kin
Shaping terrors in their glow.
Sol, your overbearing greed
Barring children from our maze.
Let us whisper, ease their needs
Or we will take them in your haze

Amazing blend of poetry and images...they match perfectly and they both elevate each other!
