Sailing Pips
Orchards Roll - futures flow. From the Sovereigns of the Seasons collection
Sailing Pips
Deep roots drank dreams.
Boughs sought the sounds.
Insect news on barken seams,
Breath of foreign clouds.
Blossom pollen, another’s aeon.
Dust, spark, blink, and fire.
Two hundreds years under sun
Meeting, merging to conspire.
Shared dream, diamond seed
Wait within a growing globe.
Apple hands sign the deed.
The future’s listening lobe.
Time thins parental threads,
Globes shine, heavy, ruby.
Gravity prepares their beds
Calling every one to duty.
Stem buckles, shakes, tumbles
Soil ocean, rolling splash
Savoury scents, music mumbles
Sugar circles juice and flesh.
Feather steads and fur ships
Go beyond forest borders.
Waiting roots within the pips
Imagine wooden shoulders.
Autumn mould, thick blankets
Pips start parental schemes.
Feed upon the year’s events,
Wandering inhuman dreams.
