A Halloween Treat scary/not scary... PS I have something special planned for the day itself - stay tuned...
From the Sovereigns of the Seasons collection
Monarch, Architect, and Mason
Kitchen door’s high corner,
Nowhere of swinging pine.
Silken steel girders
Lay infinitesimal lines.
Smaller portal, greater shift.
Lost in gossamer geometry,
Waylaid in the infinite,
Senseless in the sanctuary.
Architect’s eight shaping pins,
Exact atom ferocity.
Evolving grid, cycles, spins
Shame the sloping city.
Monarch, architect, and mason
Descends on wire breath
Onto silvered bastions.
Filigree forest, web wreath.
Respect inclines my head,
Wrestling with ravenous eyes
Unblinking, rimmed with red
Watch the twitching wise.
Eyes lock, two on eight
Short sight on fourfold vision.
Silk curve, silver straight
Effect steps with decision
I leave that high corner,
For the world’s dotage.
Lies of owned and owner
In hemp knot language
Every mirror, emperor,
We speak self-coronation.
But quiet subtle spiders,
Make every breath creation. If you enjoyed this poem and artwork - have a look at the various print options available from redbubble.com
