(Click to see full size with greater detail)
Another piece from my New Book "Chantry Circuitry". It is a series of poetic calls and incantations to Mystical and Archetypal figures. The Mandalas are meditation tools constructed from manipulated images of the poetry. Call To The Minstrel
I call to you, O Minstrel.
Fingers strike, hands glide
Striving strings, compelling bells
To push, to pull our body tides.
Marshal my inner legion
Desires lined in rows.
Unite the lizard, angel, lion
That live within my brow.
Notes sedate, notes stir.
Tremolo thoughts flutter.
Notes steer straying airs
Lifting souls that falter.
Minstrel whispers softest tones,
Stroked strings, vibrato voices.
Winds eroding iron, stone.
Seismic change, subtle choices.Happy Tomes Tuesday
