Call To The Builder
I call to you, O Builder, Mason
Mould edifice, master effort.
The steep path always open
To your high and empty court.
I am idle and indolent
But open to your reckoning.
The imagined made granite,
Mind and muscle meeting.
My feet, your foundations,
Make my fingers chisels.
The body is the station
Connecting world to will.
Blisters burn, sweat shines,
Bones aligned, stones laid.
Following the Mason’s line.
Rising edifice, effort paid.Happy Tomes Tuesday
