Chantry Circuitry continues my work to create paradigm shifts in our lives through the creation, evolution, and reimagining of language by using poetry and art as "Bardic Engineering Tools".
It's truly insightful how you articulate the shift from exploring the higher possibilities of language to focusing on 'specific acts that invite change' to rebuild inner landcapes; I'm curious if you see a parallel in how theoretical AI models require concrete, iterative data streams to achieve meaningful real-world transformation, and how you envision this translation of 'word, rhythm and story' into tangibile, 'smaller shifts' given the abstract nature of language.
Thanks so much for those truly kind words - sorry for the delay in my reply! It wasn't so much a great "shift" so much as a refocus on fine detail. The greater map I feel is still very part of the development process. ç was only by following a grand mythic narrative of an internal symbolic and linguistic collapse that I could even begin to imagine how this might be brought about with specific thought exercises. The macro and the micro compliment complementing each other
I’m dubious on how AI would work with this sort of process - I’m no linguist (though I am a programmer!) but language seems to have developed in reactive chaotic bursts rather than a steady logical path. I'm pretty sure that’s how our personal language models develop (somewhat haphazardly!). I think we can (must!) get in the middle of that process but by ACTIVELY using our imaginations and emotions to guide our internal dialogues rather than letting them run away on us. AI is great for data analysis - maybe also grammatical corrections but to verbalise the indescribable? To pin the ethereal to paper? There’s only one machine I know that can even begin to try and it runs on blood not oil! Again I humbly thank you and appreciate your time and thoughts on this - I will DEFINITELY be seeing what you’re up to!
Bardic engineering tools! Looking forward to this!
Thanks my friend- deeply appreciated
