Aurora Answers
Voices charm, voices compel A sparkle over still, white hills. Tired minds’ subconscious spells Call the North lights to their will. Summer’s rainbows, Asgard paths, Escape restraints of snowflake nets. Venting fury, throwing wrath To siege the sleeping firmament. Ordered ranks of careful colour Swoop and spiral out of line. Tumbling beyond their hour, Sudden freedom, warm as wine. Seven shades weave and wrestle, Strike visions upon rippling airs. Jade dahlias ring crimson castles Perched upon lavender stairs. Rain and sun spin teasing ribbons But Borealis opens Asgard. Aurora answering the summons Of cold captives forcing onwards.
